Shelby, this is so lovely! Full disclosure, I've never heard of that book, so I was just thinking of the Taylor Swift song, but I love thinking about all the ways we're connected to each other. I missed making the cookies, but I might still make them this week because they looked so good.
Okay I don't know how I missed this one, but A) those peanut clusters sound bomb and B) I will 100% be making and eating that chocolate mousse this week! 😍
I’ve always used the phrase “invisible strings” to refer to the ways that certain actors keep entering my pop culture orbit. Most specifically, it’s the cast of “Band of Brothers” and especially Donnie Wahlberg. I was a fan of New Kids on the Block through college then decided I had outgrown them, and suddenly a few years later Donnie Wahlberg started showing up in every movie or tv show I watched. To a friend I said, “it’s like there’s an invisible string pulling me back toward him every time I think he’s gone.” It’s still true to this day, and expanded further with the Band of Brothers cast (which is a top 3 entertainment love of mine). It’s wild how much is connected in this world and ties us together, if only in our minds.
