I made these last week and they were quite literally one of the best things I've ever tasted. Mine also looked nothing like the pictures, so I'm relieved you said that yours don't either! I brought them to work to celebrate the start of summer reading (and didn't tell anyone that I was the one who brought them because it made me anxious)! But they were devoured, and they were delicious.
Also it's been a while since I've baked anything new, and it was such a respite to just put on music and focus on a new recipe 💜
Okay these look sooooo delicious. I am v v tempted to try a gluten free version so I can enjoy them with my eyeballs *and* my tastebuds 😍🤤
